Manchester is the home of football. After all, here can be found the world’s most famous club and the world’s richest.

So on our football locations coach tour – ideal for groups of visiting fans and football folk of all persuasions – we head round the back early doors to visit United’s early grounds, City’s first pitches, Matt Busby’s house, George Best’s “Que Sera” and digs, and much more.

It’s a coach tour of two halves, where away history counts double and there are plenty of photo-scoring opportunities at Old Trafford, Maine Road, the Etihad, Bank Street, Newton Heath and Ardwick.
